Abstract-
Terminalia arjuna Roxb., Family Combretaceae is a large deciduous tree, commonly found throughout the Greater parts of the Indian Peninsula along river, streams, revives and Dry water courses. The Bark of the plant has been used in the different system of medicines as well as in Folklore medicine. In the present article, the detailed Pharmacognostic study of Terminalia arjuna Bark is carried out. The study includes Macroscopic (Organoleptic), Microscopic, Preliminary Phytochemical screening and physicochemical evaluation.
