ABSTRACT
In Ayurveda with its overarching approach to life and well being has always been an integral part of this civilization. The invention of Rasashastra established specific and appropriate dosage form of metal and minerals known as bhasma that is very much absorbable and assimilated into the human body. Tribhuvankirti Rasa is widely used as a herbo mineral drug in various diseases like Jwar, Romantika, Kaphapradhana shotha.
We all are aware that the Tribhuvankirti Rasa which we specifically use in jwar vyadhi which contains Sh.Hingul, Sh. Vatsanabh, Trikatu, Sh.Tankan, Pippali mool and the bhavana dravya as Tulsi Swarasa, Adrak Swarasa, Dhattur patra swarasa. This study is made to enlighten about the other pathbheda of Tribhuvankirti Rasa mentioned in the classical text which contains different dravyas as well as the bhavana dravya and used in vyadhi other than jwara.
